It is never as busy there as in other Frisian villages and you can therefore enjoy a trip over the water to Stavoren, Workum and Hindeloopen or a boat trip through the Luts to Balk.<\/p>

You can easily rent a boat at the VVV Waterland of Friesland or come with your own boat, but if you think: “I prefer not to sail myself”, you can choose a nice cruise and let yourself be guided by nature. You can also register at Sailing School de Morra for a sailing lesson and show the navigator in you!<\/p>

All “fytse”<\/h2>

Friesland is also known for the famous Elfsteden cycle route, the tour of tours! Over more than 255 km you can enjoy the vast Frisian country, ideal for a nice cycling holiday through the most beautiful places. The landscape between the Lakes, the meadows and the forests is always varied and makes this trip unique. You can of course shorten the trip to take the time to discover the landscapes and the small villages in the area.<\/p>

Take your bike with you or rent one and start your route on the southern part of the Elfstedenfietsroute. Cycle to Molkwerum at 3km distance from Koudum and cross Stavoren, Oudemirdum and come back to the starting point via Kippenburgh.<\/p>

On your route you will certainly come across nice catering establishments where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice lunch. It is possible to arrange a luggage service and breakdown-on-the-road service and to cycle in peace.<\/p>

If you are less into sailing, but you like to be on the water, there is also the possibility to rent a boat or make a cruise through the waters of Koudum towards Stavoren, Workum or Hindeloopen. A boat is easy to rent through VVV Waterland of Friesland.\n

Escape room Koudum<\/h3>\nA little less fan of the water? There is much more to do in Koudum. Do you like escape rooms and the outdoors? Then the escape run is an ideal activity for you and your friends, family or colleagues. An escape run is an escape room combined with a city tour. By working together with your team, you will solve riddles and mysteries as you pass all the important places in the village. This way you discover the history of the city and you undertake a fun sustainable activity at the same time. The historic village is also very nice to visit without activity.
