Rediscover France

On my way to Paris

The far north of France still has a lot in common with the Netherlands and Belgium. You will not find any vineyards here, if at all. However, there are cozy narrow streets and squares to discover. The town of Lille is a nice place for a city trip. Another nice place to discover is the town of Amiens. There is a beautiful cathedral in the city that is definitely worth a visit! There are many nice cafes and restaurants on the water. So get off the bus along the way to immediately get that holiday feeling.

Disneyland Paris is a real tourist attraction in the capital of France: an amusement and recreation park in which you will find all Disney characters. Think of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, Toy Story or all Disney princesses. Not only fun for the young, but also for the old!

Alsace, France: fairytale and romantic

Alsace, France is a region in the north-east of the country. The Route des Vins d’Alsace is a 170 km wine route that runs through Alsace. You could do this route by bike or driving (make sure you have a BOB!). The route passes by about 70 villages in this region. The nice thing about this route is that you pass many colorful villages. For example, you have Colmar. This village in the middle of Alsace has a fairytale and romantic atmosphere. The village is also called the little Venice of France.

The capital of Alsace is Strasbourg. This is sometimes called the capital of Europe, together with Brussels. This is because Strasbourg is one of the seat of the European Parliament . The city is located on the Rhine on the border with Germany. You can certainly use the Alsace region, France as a guideline for a holiday in Northern France.

Holiday France by the sea

Get a breath of fresh air by the sea

In addition to the beautiful cities that France has to offer, you can also enjoy a breath of fresh air with a holiday in France by the sea! For example, take a look at the Côte d’Opale, or the Opal Coast. Along this coast of the Pas-de-Calais are several seaside resorts, fishing villages, dunes, wide beaches and rocks. For a beautiful view you can visit Les Deux-Caps, a meter high cliff. The main seaside resort off the Opal Coast is Le Touquet Paris Plage. You can do various water sports here, but you can also enjoy the sun, sea and beach.
